This policy describes how THE FARREN (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use our website, apps, and booking services.

1. Who we are

THE FARREN operates the booking platform at this website. For privacy inquiries, contact privacy@farren.com. General support: support@farren.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect:

  • Identity & contact — name, email, phone, and account credentials when you register or book.
  • Booking details — travelers’ names, party size, selected dates/times, special requests, and booking references.
  • Payment data — processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. We may retain payment status, last four digits, and billing country as needed for records and fraud prevention.
  • Communications — messages you send via contact forms, email, or support channels.
  • Technical data — IP address, device / browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP, via logs and analytics cookies (where enabled).
  • Reviews — ratings and comments you choose to publish.

3. How we use information

We use personal data to:

  • Provide, confirm, and manage bookings and e-tickets;
  • Process payments, refunds, and fraud checks;
  • Communicate about your booking, account, and support requests;
  • Improve the platform, security, and customer experience;
  • Send marketing only where you have opted in or as otherwise permitted by law;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR apply) include contract performance, legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent (where required), and legal obligation.

4. Sharing with others

We share data only as needed:

  • Experience partners — traveler names, contact details, party size, and booking specifics required to deliver the experience;
  • Payment processors — Stripe and related banking partners;
  • Service providers — hosting, email delivery, analytics, and customer support tools under contract;
  • Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own, including where partners or infrastructure are located. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers from the EEA/UK.

6. Retention

We keep booking and transaction records for as long as needed for the booking, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal retention periods (often several years). Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Support emails are kept as needed to resolve issues and improve service.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure payment handling via Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password for your account.

8. Cookies & similar technologies

We use essential cookies for login, security, and checkout. Analytics or preference cookies may be used where permitted. You can control non-essential cookies via your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may break booking flows.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing;
  • Data portability;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Account holders can update many details in Account. For other requests, email privacy@farren.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA (know, delete, correct, opt out of “sale”/“sharing” as defined by law). We do not sell personal information as commonly understood; contact us to exercise applicable rights.

10. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16 (or the higher age required in your jurisdiction) without parental involvement. Bookings that include minors should be made by a responsible adult. Contact us if you believe we have collected a child’s data inappropriately.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated by email or a notice on the site where appropriate.
